LAHORE: Forty-five boys and girls are attending the 25-day training camp which started here at the International Swimming pool on Friday.

The camp was set up by Sports Board Punjab for training young swimming aspirants.

Director sports Mohammad Anees Sheikh inaugurated the camp.

Deputy director Hafeez Bhatti, SBP consultant Shahid Faqir, manager Punjab International Swimming Complex Sohaib Gill and other officials were also present at the inaugural ceremony.

Anees said the camp would help youngsters get latest knowledge about swimming skills under the supervision of qualified coaches.

Speaking on the occasion, Faqir said top-level experts had been engaged to impart modern techniques to young swimmers.
