LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Anti-corruption Tribunal has deferred the hearing of Shahzaib Hasan’s case in a spot-fixing scandal till Aug 21.

PCB’s lawyer Taffazul Rizvi said that Shahzaib’s lawyer Kashif Rajwana had lately submitted the statement of his witnesses.

He said according to the code of conduct, Shahzaib was to submit the statements of his witnesses along with the brief reply and added the accused player’s lawyer did not show much interest in the case and now he was trying to make it a strong case.

Shahzaib’s lawyer said the documents which he submitted, were also carrying the statements of the witnesses.

He further said that he had ensured the tribunal that documents submitted to it would be according to the statements of the witnesses.
