Army officials contacted their counterparts in India to notify the movement of Pakistani civil and military enumerators near the Line of Control (LoC) as part of the ongoing census, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Tuesday.

Indian officials were asked to inform their ground troops about the movement of census staff in areas close to the LoC.

The second phase of the census commenced on Tuesday in 87 Districts across the country and will be completed on May 25 2017, added the ISPR.
