Nouman, Ali enter finals

KARACHI: Brilliant Nouman Aftab outplayed Aqeel Shabbir 6-0,6-2 in the men’s singles semi-final while Sahabzada M Ali tamed Zubair Raja 6-2,6-4 in the U-17 semis at the 15th Westbury Open Ranking Tennis Championship 2017 being played at the Creek Club here on Thursday.

In the Under-15 singles, Rayyan Jawwad beat Hasheesh Kumer 6-4, 3-6, 10-11 while Zain Ehtisham won the U-13 semifinal against Yousuf Haleem 8-2.

In the U-9 final, Zain beat Hassan Jamal 8-2 while Erij Batool outplayed Sadia Nezamani 7-5,6-4 in the ladies singles final to clinch the title.
