Medium-sized German companies are outperforming their much larger counterparts. According to an analysis conducted by the German Savings Banks Association, midsize companies had an average profit margin of 7.3pc in the last fiscal year, compared to an average profit margin of 6.3pc for Germany’s largest businesses.
