KHUZDAR: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has said that maintenance of law and order is the main objective of his government and warned that the elements creating hurdles in the way of restoration of peace will be crushed.

Speaking at public meetings in Karkh and Mola areas on Sunday, he said that Khuzdar and other areas of the province had been ridden of the environment of fear with the breaking of backbone of terrorists involved in subversive activities with the help of funds provided by the Indian spy agency.

He said that the era of weapons was over and now pen would be seen in the hands of youth of Balochistan.

The chief minister said that he wanted to give another chance to Brahamdagh Bugti and Hairbiyar Marri to return to the country, accept the constitution of Pakistan and become part of mainstream.

He said that there was no room for bloodshed and hatred in Balochistan as the journey of development, peace and prosperity had begun in the province.

He said that those trying to destabilise the province would be given no concession, adding that they themselves were living in luxurious houses and misguiding the youth of Balochistan, leading to destruction of their future.

He said that the masses had rejected those elements which were only causing destruction in the country.

He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which would pass through Balochistan, would lead to establishment of trade centres and prove to be a harbinger of prosperity in the province.
