Sanawar Masih, Liaquat Daultana, Manzoor Daultana and Ashraf were cleaning a sewage disposal near Govt Higher Secondary School, Luddan, during which they slipped and fell into the disposal.

Three of them first fainted due to poisonous gas emitting from the disposal and eventually died. Ashraf was rescued by Rescue 1122 and admitted to DHQ Hospital. The bodies were retrieved by rescue personnel.

Until the filing of this report, families of the victims had not agreed to register a first information report of the incident.
