SUKKUR: Calling for an end to ongoing terrorism, religious extremism and sectarian violence in the country, Rawadari Tehreek Pakistan observed a token hunger strike in front of the Sukkur press club on Thursday.

It was led by Sindh minority MPA Dewan Chand Chawla (belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement), Syed Naseer Shah, Deedar Mirani, Sattar Zangejo, Prof Naeem Sadiq, Syed Sajid Shah and others.

Speaking on the occasion, they said that through a conspiracy, religious extremism was being promoted in the country to create anarchy among people of the country while the ongoing terrorism had led to unrest all over the country.
