LAHORE: A Mehfil-i-Milad was held on Thursday at the Raiwind residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which was attended by the prime minister and people from different walks of life.

Na’at khawan recited Na’ats to pay respect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and highlight his teachings of peace, love and brotherhood.

The Milad also featured recitation of the Holy Quran as well as Darood Sharif.

The participants also prayed for peace and prosperity of the country.
