LAHORE: A Lahore High Court division bench on Monday adjourned for further arguments hearing of an appeal of five men convicted of attacking participants in a candlelit vigil held on 5th death anniversary of Punjab’s slain governor Salman Taseer this year on Jan 4 at Liberty Chowk.

The convicts who challenged their conviction include Adeel, Furqan, Kashif, Iftikhar and Wazir Ali.

The bench comprising Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan and Justice Erum Sajjad Gull sought more arguments from defence and the prosecution.

The hearing was adjourned for two weeks.
