PESHAWAR: Tourism Corporation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will sponsor a motorcycle rally at the most scenic tourist destination of the province to promote tourism and sports.

A press release issued here on Monday said that motorcyclists from Turkey, Australia and all over the country would take part in the rally, which would pass through Kaghan, Naraan, Chitral and Swat.

The Motorcycle Association of Pakistan in collaboration with TCKP is holding the rally. The delegation comprising Motorcycle Association members headed by Mukarram Khan met on Monday with Mohammas Ali Sayed, the general manager of Tourism Information Centre of TCKP.

The delegation and the officials of TCKP were of the view that this activity would boost tourism in Kaghan, Naraan, Swat and Chitral as well as promote a peaceful image of the province.

Mr Mukarram Khan said that youth from parts of the country as well as motorcyclists from Turkey and Australia were taking part in the rally. He said that last year many tourists and motorcyclists visited Naraan and Sopat valley and were enchanted by its beauty.
