The dimpled doll Deepika Padukone has now established herself as one of the top-notch film actresses in India. This is the reason that these days all seemingly ‘difficult’ roles come her way.

The latest in that regard is a film which is a Hindi adaptation of the famous 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars which was also adapted into a Hollywood movie last year. Deepika P will play the role of a young girl suffering from cancer who falls in love with a boy who too once suffered from the same disease. The male protagonist in the film will be played by Varun Dhawan.

Wait a minute. Wasn’t the girl in the novel way younger than Deepika P? Well, what the heck, it’s an adaptation, a Hindi one at that.
