SARGODHA: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) officials on Sunday suspended power supply to the tehsil municipal administration (TMA) over default on payment of electricity bills. Consequently, water supply system and disposal units have stopped functioning, affecting the sewerage system as well.

The citizens have voiced their concerns over the problems they are facing due to the move by the Fesco authorities taken during the month of Ramazan when those fasting need water. The hurdles to sewage disposal works have started creating inconvenience for the public at large and the mosques.

The people have expressed displeasure at the mismanagement in the TMA, urging chief minister to take notice of its inefficiency and mismanagement. They have also demanded the CM issue orders for a complete audit of funds which have been misused by the TMA.
