Reserves at $17.75bn

KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $17.749 billion during the week ending May 15 compared to $17.739bn the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The SBP reserves decreased by $38 million to $12.512bn from $12.550bn, and the other banks’ holdings were $5.237bn as compared to $5.189bn.

During the week, the SBP made payments of $63m on account of external debt servicing, however, no major inflow was recorded.
