LAHORE: Pakistan won their third consecutive match of the fifth Asian Beach Handball Championship in Muscat, beating Bahrain by two sets to one.

According to the information released by the Pakistan Handball Federation, Pakistan won the first set 16-14 but lost the second 18-24. Pakistan won the match on penalty shootout 7-6.

Meanwhile, in other matches, Qatar beat Vietnam 2-0 and Iran carved out a 2-1 win against Oman.

Pakistan will play their fourth match against Oman on Wednesday.

Currently, defending champions Qatar are leading the event with six points followed by Pakistan with four points.
