LAHORE: Pakistan took an unbeatable 2-0 lead against Kyrgyzstan in their Fed Cup tie held in Hyderabad Deccan, India.

According to the report received here on Saturday, first Ushna Suhail defeated her rival top seed Eliza Ashkarova of Kyrgyzstan 3-6, 6-0, 6-1. Then Iman Qureshi toppled Sara Kunakunova, their second seed, quite easily 6-1, 6-2.

Pakistan after this victory improved their ranking by three positions.

Meanwhile, Ushna, pairing with Sara Mansoor, also won three doubles matches of the Fed Cup against different countries.
