Economic corridor

Published February 27, 2015

NEWS of change in original route of economic corridor to China is disturbing and not acceptable to the two provinces. The government by keeping mum is only adding to the agony and confusion.

The fairest thing would be for the authorities concerned to immediately make public the planned route and let it be debated in the National Assembly and Senate.

Hopefully, better sense will prevail and the sensitivities of other provinces will be taken care of so that it truly becomes a national project.
