SIALKOT: Police have registered three more cases against property owners for renting out their houses without informing local police.

Rangpura police registered a case against Haji Nadeem, Sialkot Saddar police against Muhammad Umer and Muradpur police against Sameer for renting out their properties without informing the police.

On Wednesday, the district police registered 13 separate cases against property owners for putting their houses and shops on rent without informing police.

According to senior police officials, all property owners in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils have been asked to submit complete data of the persons concerned to the local police before putting their houses, shops and other properties on rent.

This step had been taken to prevent criminals and other dubious people from residing in rented places, they added.
