Reserves increase

KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves increased to $14.042 billion during the week ending December 12 compared to $13.922bn the previous week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.

The reserves held by the SBP increased by $144 million to reach $9.347bn from $9.203bn. The other banks’ holdings were $4.695bn as compared to $4.719bn the previous week.
