KARACHI: A ‘missing’ activist of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat was found shot dead, a party official said on Wednesday.

The spokesperson for the ASWJ, Umar Muavia, said their 30-year-old party worker Tariq Muavia had been taken away in Lyari around two months back.

On Wednesday, they found his body at the Edhi morgue in Sohrab Goth, he added.

There were torture marks and bullet wounds on his body.

The party official said they were collecting information how his body reached the Edhi morgue.
