ISLAMABAD: The capital police have registered cases against seven persons in separate land dispute cases.

The Bhara Kahu police booked two suspects for selling a piece of land on fake documents. Farmanullah complained to the police that the accused sold him 22 kanals for Rs46.5 million and also received Rs26 million in advance.

He said when he verified the documents from the revenue department, they were found bogus.

The Margalla police registered a case against a suspect who sold 109 kanals for Rs46.4 million.

Masroor Sarwar complained that he paid the amount but the suspect was not ready to transfer the land to him.

When he verified the documents, it emerged that the seller was not the owner of the land.

The Nilor police registered a case against the supervisor of a housing society and his three companions for trying to occupy a piece of land in Tumair area.

Mohammad Dildar claimed that the suspects had removed fencing and trees from the land to occupy it.
