Eid gift for CNG users

Published July 26, 2014

RAWALPINDI: The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) on Friday said CNG would be available in Punjab for 24 hours for five days during Eid holidays.

“The government has already notified uninterrupted supply of natural gas to all CNG filling stations in Punjab from Monday July 28 to Saturday,” said central chairman of APCNGA Pervaiz Khan Khattak.

He welcomed the decision saying it would help people get affordable fuel while going to their hometowns. Besides, the CNG stations will make up for the losses they made during the gas load management.

He said rains had reduced electricity demand, therefore, gas shifted to the power sector should be returned to the CNG sector. He expressed the hope that the government would reconsider the existing load management schedule after Eid to benefit people and the CNG operators.
