How Hulk made my day

THIS is with reference to the story “How Hulk made my day” by Kabeer Khan (YW, June 21, 2014).

It was a very funny and interesting story. I really loved reading it. The part about the boy appearing on the stage as Hulk to give his speech was an interesting twist in the story. The writer has done a great job in coming up with such a unique and funny storyline. Also, the illustration by Ahmed Amin was very nice.

I WAS glad to see two stories in (June 21, 2014) issue, that is “How Hulk made my day” by Kabeer Khan and “The silver ring” By Ahad Imtiaz. Both the stories were awesome but I liked the one about Hulk more as it was amusing and interesting. I hope we would have the two stories treat again in the magazine.

Myths and mysteries

I HAVE been reading Young World for many years and I always like reading the “Myths and mysteries” section. It started as very long articles during the first few months, with many spine-tingling tales. Unfortunately, the recent articles have been a little boring and short too. I can understand how difficult it is to find new mysteries as many of the existing ones have been discussed in this section.

However, I want to suggest to the YW team to start a section of fictional horror stories. It would be really appealing to the readers and the writers too will get a chance to polish up their writing skills by writing stories of a different genre.

Exploring the red planet

THIS is with reference to the article “Exploring the red planet” by Benazir Raz (YW, June 14, 2014). It was a fascinating article. I would say that the writer has always provided us with very unique information. Besides, the interview “Sky is not the limit” by Shazia Hassan was also interesting to read and it shows that determination and hardwork always pays.

I would like to thank the writers for working hard and providing us with wonderful information.

Sky is not the limit

THIS is regarding the interview “Sky is not the limit” by Shazia Hassan (YW, June 14, 2014). It was very inspirational and encouraging as it highlighted a great personality like Ms Zainab Nagin Cox. I was really impressed to read how Ms Cox just followed her dream and grabbed it.

No doubt, we often do as others say and hardly follow our heart, no matter how much we want something for our future. I don’t mean to say that we should not follow our elders, but it is a fact that we often miss our goals by not doing what we really want.

And I think children and parents should discuss matters with each other when it comes to pursuing one’s dream.

I HAVE been reading Young World since last year, and I would like to confess that I am a great fan of this magazine. I eagerly wait for every Saturday. The magazine is always full of wonderful articles and interesting news. I congratulate the entire team of YW for doing such a fine job in providing us with great educational articles.
