KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced that they will hold protests in Pakistan and in other countries against statements made by Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan.

Speaking at a press conference at Karachi's Nine-Zero, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar spoke out strongly and contemned the statements made by the PTI chief against MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

Imran Khan had said that he held the MQM leader directly responsible for the killing of PTI Sindh Vice President Zahra Shahid Hussain.

The MQM has rejected the allegations and have condemned the PTI chief for making the accusations.

Farooq Sattar said that making allegations against his party chief without any evidence or proof was highly irresponsible and showed a lack of political maturity by Imran Khan.

During the press conference, Farooq Sattar said that the low turnout in re-polling of NA-250 proves that the people have rejected the process.

He said that the residents of Defence have shown their love for Altaf Hussain by rejecting the polling process in NA-250.
