KARACHI: Science exhibition


KARACHI, March 18: Sindh Minister for Social Welfare and Culture Rauf Siddiqui inaugurated a science exhibition at the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, he said science education was important to make headway in the comity of nations and meet the present day challenges.

The minister praised the efforts put in by the students, particularly their projects of physics, chemistry, biology, computer science and management sciences.

He announced a cash prize of Rs5,000 each for the two best projects at the exhibition and gave away commendation certificates to the talented students and teachers.

Principal Ali Murtaza Naqvi said the students had come up with excellent result.

The minister lauded the services of the Aga Khan Development Network as well as of the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School.—APP
