MIRAMSHAH, Feb 14: US troops and Afghan National Army intruded into the Sedgai area of North Waziristan Agency on Sunday and captured two armed tribesmen, sources said.

With two fighter planes and four helicopters buzzing overhead, the allied and Afghan troops entered the Sedagai area, about 12km north of Miramshah, at 5pm.

On Sunday, the allied troops conducted house-to-house search in the area near Afghan border and arrested two tribesmen. The arrested persons have been identified as Mahboob Khan and his nephew Zardad Khan. They were shifted to a military base across the border.

BODY: Political authorities on Monday morning found a body of an Afghan national in the Mirali bazaar. Officials said that the killers packed the body of an unidentified Afghan national in a sack and threw it in the market. An official said that a chit was also recovered from the body, which read: "Those spying or supporting the Americans would face the same consequences."
