Indian troops abduct 17 BD fishermen

DHAKA, Sept 26: The Border Security Forces (BSF) of India has recently abducted 27 Bangladeshi fishermen from the Padma river near Sonaikandi on the outskirts of Rajshahi divisional headquarters of the country.

The fishermen, believed to have been kept at the Harubhanga BSF camp, are yet to be freed by the Indians.

The BSF men reportedly swooped on the Bangladeshi fishermen, as they were catching fish inside Bangladesh territory.
