PESHAWAR: Unesco World Heritage Center has added four more major archaeological and heritage sites of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the World Heritage Tentative List.
The sites include Bhamala, Sethi House, Peshawar; Barikot, Swat; and Gor Khatri, Peshawar.
This is a significant achievement of the Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federal Archaeology and Unesco Pakistan, and an important step towards the international recognition and preservation of KP’s rich cultural heritage.
