OWING to widespread anarchy, the entire province of Balochistan has become a sort of no-go area for the rest of the country. Just about everything is being attacked, disrupted and destroyed. The people of Balochistan are compelled to live a life that has no comparison with that lived by people in most other parts of Pakistan.

This anarchy, terrorism and instability caused by the unholy nexus of terrorist organisations has made people suffer. People are facing extreme uncertainty and anxiety. They have no sympathy for terrorists. Over the years, there were many analysts who repeatedly said that the only solution to armed resistance in Balochistan was to ensure infrastructural development. However, after years of such development, the situation has now become even more radicalised, with terrorist groups finding newer infratructural targets to destroy. This is forcing the state’s hand.
