Stage actress booked for attacking her colleague

TOBA TEK SINGH: A stage actress along with two others was booked by the Faisalabad Police on Sunday for allegedly attacking another actress.

Stage actress Ambar Afzal alias Hina Sheikh of Gujranwala in her complaint to the police said that she was performing in a stage drama in Sabina Cinema in Faisalabad.

She claimed that when she returned to her hotel on the Canal Road on Sunday, two unidentified persons, sent by a stage dancer named Silk also from Gujranwala, fired on her car in the parking area of the hotel. She claimed that the windows of her car were badly damaged in the attack, however, she, her father and her cousin remained unhurt as they had exited the vehicle and were inside the hotel.

She claimed that she had an argument with Silk during a stage drama in a theatre in Gujranwala. She claimed that Silk had threatened her of dire consequences then and was also repeatedly threatening her on phone.

Police were investigating.
