Three die in Kasur rain

KASUR: Two elderly brothers died in a roof collapse incident on Sunday at Dhingriwala village in the limits of Kot Radha Kishan police station.

Sardar and his younger brother Mansha, 70, were sitting in a room of their house when the dilapidated roof collapsed, leaving the two brothers seriously injured. They succumbed to their injuries.

In another case, a woman died and three others suffered injuries when the roof of the room they were sleeping in collapsed due to heavy rain in Khara village.

Hanif (40) along with his family members including his wife Mafia Bibi (38) and children Abubakar (7) and Fatima (4) were sleeping when its roof collapsed. Rescue 1122 took out the body of Mafia Bibi and recovered Hanif, Abubakar, and Fatima in injured condition.
