CHESS CULTURE: Chess is not just a board game, it is one of the greatest intellectual competitions in the world, and is often called the game of minds. Chess develops skills like critical thinking, patience, decision-making and problem-solving. Sadly, Pakistan has failed to develop a strong chess culture. Many young people with great potential failed to have due access to proper training, guidance and opportunity to compete. The government, educational institutions and private organisations should promote chess education by establishing chess clubs, holding tournaments and creating training opportunities for young players. Supporting chess is not only about producing professional players, but developing a stronger chess culture and raising a generation with better analytical skills to lead the game in future.

BANKING FACILITIES: There is a serious lack of ATMs in rural areas of Balochistan. In most emergency cases, people have to travel to cities to use ATMs. Even in some areas where an ATM exists, people often have to wait for hours in queues. In larger towns, ATMs frequently break down or run out of cash when people come to draw their salaries or pensions. Even small farmers, labourers and elderly pensioners struggle to access the digital or formal cash system. The government must take immediate action to establish more bank branches as well as install ATMs in rural areas.

UNREPAIRED ROADS of hub: Damaged roads and bumpy streets have become one of the main characteristics of Hub. Roads are frequently dug up for one purpose or the other, but are left unrepaired afterwards, leaving a trail of issues for commuters to face. A major issue is the unprofessional refilling of soil, which leaves uneven surfaces and dust everywhere. The dust and discomfort make even a short journey exhausting. The department concerned should ensure that roads are repaired after development work.
