BANNU: Three people, including a Frontier Corps official, were killed in two separate firing incidents here.

According to police sources, the first incident took place on Monday evening near Kakakhel Masjid in the Sardikhel area, where unidentified men opened fire on serving FC official Ghazi Rehman, a local resident.

Ghazi Rehman had come to his village on leave to celebrate Eid.

In another incident, the bullet-riddled bodies of two young men were recovered from the Kashu Nullah area of Domel. They weren’t identified until night.

Police shifted the bodies to the hospital and launched investigation to the killings.
