Hezbollah says engaged in ‘direct clashes’ with Israeli forces in south Lebanon
Hezbollah says it is involved in “direct clashes” with Israeli forces in the southern Lebanese town of Khiam, AFP reports.
In a statement, it said that the clashes were ongoing, having started at 9:20pm (1920 GMT) and involved “light and medium weapons as well as rocket-propelled projectiles”.
It said it had also targeted Israeli forces in three border villages.
