The Israeli military says it has begun striking Hezbollah across Lebanon, according to Reuters.

Explosions have been heard in the southern suburbs of Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold.

Development comes after Hezbollah said it launched rockets and drones at Israel overnight in retaliation for the killing of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
