The United States Department of Homeland Security’s National Terrorism Advisory System has published a bulletin warning of a “heightened threat environment” in the US, Al Jazeera reports citing a CBS News report.

The report said that the bulletin does not include a warning ofspecific threats, but says “low-level cyber attacks against USnetworks by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely, and cyber actorsaffiliated with the Iranian government may conduct attacks against USnetworks”.
