The French Foreign Ministry said yesterday’s decision by Israel to revoke the travel authorisations for the delegations, including elected officials, is regrettable, counterproductive, and damaging to Franco-Israeli relations, Al Jazeera reports.

“The public accusations by the Israeli Embassy in France alleging links between these associations and terrorist organisations are unacceptable,” the French foreign ministry said, calling on Israel to reverse its decision.
