Israel Defence Minister Israel Katz has affirmed that annexation was part of his country’s military strategy, Al Jazeera reports.

He said it’s not just in Gaza but in Lebanon and Syria as well.

Israeli troops will stay indefinitely in so-called security zones, or buffer zones that are created on someone else’s land.
