The death toll from the Israeli shelling of a tent housing displaced people in Gaza’s al-Mawasi area, which we earlier reported on, has risen to four, Al Jazeera reports.
The tent camp at al-Mawasi — near Khan Younis and Deir el-Balah — is one of the most overcrowded areas in a landscape devastated by nearly 18 months of relentless Israeli bombardment.
The Israeli-described “safe evacuation zone” has sustained repeated deadly attacks by the military.
