Hamas’s armed wing released a video showing an Israeli hostage in Gaza, calling on Israeli authorities to secure his release, AFP reports.

The footage lasts more than three minutes, showing the hostage speaking in Hebrew and repeatedly raising his hands in desperation as he makes an appeal for his freedom.

AFP was unable to verify when or where in the Gaza Strip the video was taken.
