Israel does not care about its citizens: captive’s father
The father of one of the Israeli captives still held in Gaza has termed reports circulating about ceasefire talks as causing him “stress and anxiety”, Al Jazeera quotes a Haaretz report as saying.
“The truth is that I can’t understand what’s happening now in the negotiations,” said Alon Nimrodi, whose 20-year-old soldier son Tamir Nimrodi, is still held captive.
“If this talk is true, if my son is not American, we are simply lost. The Americans will be released and we are alone in the campaign — every man for himself.
“Israel does not care about its citizens, Israel does not care about its soldiers and it does not care about the hostages in general. The Americans care about their people. Delirium, delirium, crazy heartache, excruciating pain,” Nimrodi was quoted as saying.
