Al Jazeera Arabic reports that Israeli forces stormed the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem as Palestinians gathered for Fajr prayers.

Israeli authorities have placed heavy restrictions on Palestinians from the occupied West Bank travelling to the mosque — Islam’s third-holiest site — to pray during Ramazan.
