Top US diplomat Marco Rubio said that Hamas revealed its “sick depravity” by holding hostages and the bodies of dead captives in Gaza, adding the group’s leaders were “playing with fire”, AFP reports.

“The fact that these terrorists continue to hold hostages and even dead bodies reflects their sick depravity. I call on our partners to help impress upon Hamas’ leaders that they are playing with fire,” Rubio said in a statement.
