LAHORE: The Punjab police and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday informed the Lahore High Court that 21 cases have been registered against PTI Punjab chief organiser Aliya Hamza Malik.
A provincial law officer filed a report on behalf of police, showing three cases against Ms Malik in Lahore, seven in Kasur, one in Gujranwala, two in Mianwali and four each in Rawalpindi and Faisalabad.
A federal law officer told the court that the cybercrime wing of the FIA also registered a case against the PTI leader.
Based on the reports submitted by law officers, Justice Farooq Haider disposed of the petition of Ms Malik.
The judge noted that since the required details have been submitted, the petition no longer required further action.
The PTI leader had challenged the authorities for failing to provide details of the cases registered against her.
The petition contended that Ms Malik was not being informed about the cases and inquiries constituted against her.
