SWABI: Four members of family, including a young girl, were killed over an old enmity in the mountainous region of Gadoon Amazai here on Saturday, police said.

They said that the cause of the incident was an old enmity.

They said the deceased had moved to Kabgani village from Ismaila decades ago due to the enmity. They were going to attend proceeding of a case in the local court when their rivals attacked them.

The victims and the accused are cousins of each other. Two people belonging to the accused family were allegedly killed by the family of deceased several years ago.

SHO of Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate police station Farooq Khan told this scrive said that Abdur Rauf his mother Sharafat Begum, sister Habiba Gul and cousin Munibur Rehman were on way to a local court in a car when their rivals attacked them with firearms in Bisak Lara.

Rauf, his mother and cousin were killed on the spot and Habiba was critically injured. The injured girl and dead bodies were shifted to Topi tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy. Later, the girl also succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.

Abdul Qudoos, a brother of Rauf, named Rafiq Khan, Waqas Khan, Zafar Khan and Qubad Khan in the FIR.
