The United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) has reported the death of a three-week-old Palestinian baby — born prematurely — from pneumonia.

“Attacks on hospitals are robbing vulnerable newborns of the neonatal intensive care they need. This violence must stop. Ceasefire now,” Unicef said on X.

Unicef said the baby’s mother, Hala, did not name the child from the fear of losing him.
