At least 10 people killed in Israeli strikes in eastern Lebanon
Lebanon’s Health Ministry says 10 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in the country’s east. Most of the casualties were reported in a single village, Al Jazeera reports.
“Ten martyrs and 26 wounded in a preliminary toll for today’s Israeli enemy strikes on the Baalbek-Hermel region,” the ministry said, adding that eight of those killed died in the village of Amhaz.
Israel had not issued evacuation orders for eastern Lebanon today.
