The health ministry in Gaza has said that at least 43,061 people have been killed in the year-long conflict, AFP reports.

The toll includes 41 deaths in the previous 24 hours, according to the ministry, which said 101,223 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the conflict began on October 7, 2023.
