The Israeli army has confirmed that four more of its soldiers were killed while invading southern Lebanon, including a rabbi, Al Jazeera reports.

Captain Rabbi Avraham Yosef Goldberg was killed along with Major Eliav Amram Abitbol, Captain Amit Chayut, and Master Sergeant Gilad Elmaliach.

They served in a battalion in the Alon Brigade. Multiple other Israeli soldiers were also wounded in fighting with Hezbollah, including four in critical condition.
