The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society and the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs have said there are 94 Palestinian women currently in Israeli jails with 91 of them detained after October 7, 2023, Al Jazeera reports.

The organisations said three of the women are from Gaza, four from Israel proper, four others from occupied East Jerusalem and 83 from the occupied West Bank.

They said 61 remain under arrest, five have been sentenced, and 28 are in administrative detention.
